Author Guidelines

For this journal, authors are expected to submit a past assignment to go through a peer review. All submissions must go through a spell and grammar check, and contain a reference list with in-text citations using APA, Chicago, or MLA citation styles. The Submission preparation checklists ensures that standards are followed by all participants for all submissions. In some cases, students may need to clear with the professor to whom they have submitted those papers. Students hold the copyright to the works submitted to this journal even though none of those will move to full publication and will be deleted upon completing the process.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
